Charles Javorsky Fund
Charles A. Javorsky, a retired metallurgist from Los Alamos National Laboratory,
endowed an undergraduate scholarship in 2006 for a student in the Department
of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. The scholarships will go to students
who have at least a 3.0 GPA, and will be administered by the Office of Financial
Aid.
According to Javorsky, “I liked the fact that New Mexico Tech concentrates
on science and engineering. When I was a student, I was very lucky to get help
along the way. I thought this would be a good way to help students complete
their education.”
