New Student Registration and OrientationNew Students: We look forward to meeting you on the New Mexico Tech campus!New Students who have not yet registered for classes: You may register on either Monday, July 28, or Friday, August 22. REGISTRATION IS IMPORTANT! You will learn how to read and understand the class catalog. You'll get to meet your faculty advisor and learn how to prepare a meaningful class schedule. You'll have a chance to take the optional Math Placement Exam (if you feel your ACT or SAT scores do not reflect your math ability and wish to start in a higher-level class). There is a fee of $50, to covers meals and activities for student and family members for Registration & Orientation. Additional Things You Can Do on Registration DaysThese offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, EXCEPT CASHIER'S, WHICH CLOSES AT 4 P.M.
