Women in STEM - from Lady Ada to Today

Date: Wed. 26 Mar, 2014 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Location: Jones Annex

The Women's Resource Center invites all students and faculty to join us in the Ananda Lounge (Jones Annex 218), on March 26, for two excellent presentations. First, Cheri Burch, the New Mexico STEM chair of the American Association of University Women, will speak about "Women in STEM" at 2 p.m. Then, Lady Ada (looking just a tad different than last year), Ms. Beatrix Potter, and Drs. McClintock and Goodall (plus Mr. Babbage) invite you to stay for afternoon tea and chat about the changes women have faced in the STEM fields over the last 150 years. Tea is served at 3:30 p.m.!
