Room and Board Costs Per Year

Room and Board Costs 2007 - 2008 (pdf)

Room and Board costs for 2008-09 will be available in the summer of 2008

IMPORTANT BILLING INFORMATION

  • On registration day, you will receive a bill for the semester's charges. If you have been awarded a scholarship, grant, or loan, the semester's financial aid amount is automatically applied as credit against those charges
  • The full amount of tuition and fees for each semester must be paid on or before registration. Two-thirds of the room and board charges can be deferred, but tuition and fees cannot be deferred. This is called "validating."
  • If you defer room and board payments, you will be charged a fee of $25 per semester. One-third of your room and board charges must be paid at registration; the other two-thirds are due by two stipulated dates during the semester.
  • All students must have health insurance. If you cannot provide proof of coverage when you register, you will be required to purchase the plan offered by Tech. There are two options: a high plan, with more coverage for a higher cost, and a low plan, with less coverage for a lower cost.

Prices for 2006 - 2007 insurance will be posted when they become available.
