all day, start from Tech Gym.  Enjoy the breath taking views and the beautiful fall weather along the Rio Grande as you walk, jog or run the 13 mile course from Tech gymnasium to the Owl Bar in San Antonio, NM. This is a non-competitive event. Participation can be individual or as a group. Participants can leave any time during the day. 

Water stations will be placed along the trail at the 4 mile marker, 6, 8, 10, and 12. Once you reach the Owl, the friendly folks inside will give one complimentary non-alcoholic drink of your choice.

Transportation back to Socorro is available ONLY ONCE at 6:30 pm. The  Physical Recreation Department will have Owl Bar Run t-shirts free for participants or $5.00 for non-participants. Maps can be picked up at the gym.
