Research Office Services

The Research Services Office (Brown Hall, Room 111A) performs a wide variety of tasks to assist faculty and adjunct researchers at Tech.

• Coordinator for the NSF FastLane website -- helps researchers submit proposals via FastLane, assigns FastLane passwords, and troubleshoots most FastLane problems
• Coordinator for other online proposal submission sites (Grants.gov, NSPIRES, NOAA, NIH eRA Commons)
• Assists with proposal routing for administrative signatures
• Performs institutional research (i.e., gathering statistics on Tech's students, staff, and faculty to be reported on the IPEDS surveys and college ranking surveys)
• Administers Tech's Institutional Review Board for human subjects research
• Maintains the R&ED web site
