Shall We Dance, Socorro? | NMTPAS

Shall We Dance? partners six of Socorro's local celebrities with a professional dancer to learn a 90-second ballroom dance routine. Imagine the mayor dancing a spicy cha-cha, the high school football coach performing a beautiful waltz, or a prominent business owner getting their boogie on with a disco. Over the course of a week our "celebrities" will refine their skills as they prepare to compete onstage in front of a live audience. Throw in costumes, video highlights and a hilarious local judging panel for a show that will leave audiences laughing, cheering, singing, and laughing some more. The best part is the audience votes for who will win and take home the coveted mirror ball trophy. 7:30 p.m. in Macey Center.
