Dr. Eric Eide, research assistant professor and a co-director of the Flux Research Group in the School of Computing at the University of Utah, will present “Finding and Understanding Bugs in C Compilers” as part of the Computer Science and Engineering Speaker Series. Prof. Eide will describe his research that has led to the development of two open-source tools that are now commonly used by compiler testers -- Csmith and C-Reduce. 3:30 p.m. in Cramer 221.
