 Dr. Cameron R. Homeyer, assistant professor in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, is the guest speaker for the Physics Department seminar. His talk is titled "Atmospheric Science at the Weather- Chemistry-Climate Interface: Studyign Transport in Mid-Latitude Convection." Moist convection that reaches and penetrates the tropopause affects the concentration and distribution of trace gases in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere, which is important for atmospheric chemistry, Earth’s radiation budget, and climate. 4 p.m. in Workman 101.
