Karin Patzke is a doctoral candidate in Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She will present a special seminar for the CLASS Department and Earth and Environmental Science Department. Her talk is titled "Collectively Imagining the Waters: The Future of Water Management in Texas." Patzke will discuss her fieldwork in Texas concerning the cultural and political aspects of natural resource management and highlight the barriers and strategies to enrolling private landowners in policy initiatives, watershed management and conservation practices. 3:30 p.m. in Jones Annex 101.
