Dr. Chris Carilli of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and Cavendish Laboratory will present the Physics Department seminar. His talk is titled "Cosmic Reionization." Cosmic reionization corresponds to the epoch in Universal evolution when light from the first stars and accreting black holes acted to reionize the neutral Hydrogen gas that pervaded the Universe
after recombination
