OpenEye is seeking interns for the summer of 2016 to work on various projects. The projects could include, depending on the candidates’ interest and abilities:

·         DevOps – working on Orion, our Cloud platform, using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

·         Web development – using Django/Python with Bootstrap.

·         Platform development – Creating integrations between the SaaS products OpenEye uses, including Atlassian and Box.

All projects will require programming, typically in Python.  You will be working in a group and will collaborate with other groups. You will be exposed to professional software development practices, such as issue tacking, source version control, code review, testing, packaging and deployment.

Applicants are not limited to Computer Science majors. A willingness to learn is crucial as you are not expected to be an expert in all areas these projects will cover. If the listed projects are not of interest, please send your resume and the areas which interest you.
