You're learning theory and select applications in information security, but how does it work in an enterprise? In this talk, Tech escapee and San Francisco Fed employee Jesse Crawford will discuss information security operations centers (SOCs), security information and event management systems (SIEMs), and other acronyms that drive the world of corporate information security. Informed by a lengthy career of entire months in a major quasi-government organization, this talk will cover some technical and soft aspects of corporate information security as well as careers in the field. 1 p.m. in Cramer Hall.
