Wells Hall

Wells Hall is named after Edgar H. Wells, President of New Mexico School of Mines from 1921 to 1939. His leadership and devotion to the university and to education led to an expansion of the school’s role from strictly mining engineering to include other areas. He presided over the construction of many buildings under the WPA, including the one named after him. Wells Hall houses the following offices: Director of Finance, Accounts Payable, Travel, Payroll, Restricted Funds Accounting, Internal Control, Director of Sponsored Projects and Restricted Funds Accounting.
