Cramer Hall
Cramer Hall is the only “cloned” building on the New Mexico Tech campus. The original section of Cramer (the middle section, facing east) was built in 1927 and named “Science Hall.” Wings were added to the north and south in the 1970s, but these did not fit the original design and were removed in 2005. They were replaced with copies of the original building, placed at right angles to the original on the north and south sides. Cramer Hall was named after longtime regent Tom Cramer in 1971. The renovated Cramer Hall opened in 2006, housing the departments of Computer Science, Psychology, Distance Education, Community College, and the Master of Science Teaching program, as well as classrooms and offices.
