Formal Logic and Discrete Mathematics


Catalog description:  Analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Induction and recursion. Mathematical proofs. Propositional calculus and predicate calculus. Discrete and combinatorial mathematics: sets, functions, relations, trees, and graphs, permutations and combinations.
Credit/class  hours: 3 cr, 3 cl hrs
Prerequisites:  MATH 132 passed with grade C- or better
